My artist father, who was a graphic designer and painter related these legends to me when I was a child. To give a real body and shape to the characters of these stories following my fantasy was for me a challenge as well as a great pleasure that accompanied me during these last four years of creativity. I realized that each villager must have formed his own image of the mysterious world of the Weltu, and I hope that with my interpretation I won’t offend anybody. Furthermore, I decided to put some precise limits: all stories on the devil or on the poor souls of the deceased had to be avoided. When I read the Bosco Gurin legends very thoroughly, I discovered many pieces of wisdom and could see how often unexplainable phenomena were personified. I’m happy to celebrate with this exhibition the 35th jubilee of my artistic activity. All exhibited works (except «Waarda odar Vargåå») can be purchased.
